 @Fungamingrobo war between Ukraine and Russia isn't supposed to concern France. Ukraine and France are not allies. Stepping into this war means France has declared war on Russia.

Europe chose the path of reckless militarism. That has nothing to do with normal Americans.

@didncozosksma4466 I strongly remember the time between 1991 and 2014 when Russia controlled nothing in neutral Ukraine and was happy to keep it that way. France is playing with fire.

@TheBarnestah reckless militarism = NATO expansion in spite of several appeals by Putin. If you don't understand anything ask questions. I don't think you are educated.

@TheBarnestah don't confuse the will of the people with the will of their governments. None of the countries that joined NATO after 1999 (after 8 years of uninterrupted peace in Europe) did so by popular citizens' referendum- it was all the fiat decisions of their political classes, who had meetings which the public was not privy to. Furthermore NATO reserves the right to refuse anyone which they choose to based on vetos from Turkey or Hungary (as recent examples), so don't give me that crawp about "having no choice but to expand". They knew exactly what they were doing.

@richard7071 dude it's common sense. You are asking Russia to tolerate what the US would never tolerate. It's an obvious, dire security threat to Russia and that's why negotiations are important but these leaders think they're above negotiations.
