@pythondre and they had a very good reason for it. Why is a military alliance expanding in peacetime? If everyone stayed in their borders and minded their business there'd be peace in the world. But someone always has to be an imperialist: USA.

@pythondre I think it's USA and the West pumping Ukraine full of weapons and money to sustain a fight against a far more powerful enemy?

@pythondre so you expand military alliances because you don't like what someone is saying? Putin became president in 1999, and that was the exact same year NATO expanded in the first wave and took Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Poland. Seems like provocation to me.
