The US knows that Russia can hit more of ukraine's energy infrastructure than Ukraine can hit the Russian infrastructure. They're trying to help Ukraine stay longer in the fight.... But the Orcrainians are not particularly intelligent.

@stanfarshtei1291 speak for yourself. I know the reason why NATO refused to answer Zelensky's call to close Ukrainian airspace: they're gonna incur an expensive defeat at the hands of Russian AA just like the Abrams tanks littering the field. I don't share your delusions one bit- NATO cannot take the wrong step because they know what they're up against.
