  1.  @Blanka1100  Medvedev and Patrushev don't look like people with any kind of taste for luxury lives. Russia sees a potential surrounding of their territory by NATO's missile shield to be existential, negating Russian survivability in a mutually assured destruction scenario. I'm convinced nobody is joking about this at the Kremlin.

  3. If NATO wants to avoid escalation at all costs, why are they rejecting negotiations with Russia? Stoltenberg has admitted to NATO deliberately doing the opposite of what Russia proposes to "offend Putin" and "have more NATO on Russia border"

  4. I don't believe you. Putin simply wants to stop Ukraine from joining NATO. Nobody else has been hit since hostilities began in 2022.
