Personally I think the only deal that will work is: Russia releases Crimea to Ukraine, withdraws all troops from Ukraine and Georgia, and takes on the bulk of Ukraine's rebuilding; .....and NATO rolls back its borders to the 1991 state, vowing never to expand anymore to the East, and letting the Baltics remain unaligned and neutral, and taking all sanctions off Russia. Russia gets its security guarantees, and NATO takes its foot off Russia's neck, freeing up funds for development in everyone's countries. I don't think this is hard. Come on, humanity.

  4. You will reawaken the self defense hysteria of the Russians. This war will become popular in Russia. Don't you even understand there are people in this world who are determined to swing in self defense till their last breath? Everyone's gone insane in the West. The few ones with some sanity calling for peace talks are fewer than golden four winged unicorns. As an outsider I just have to shake my head in disgust at the West and their hypocrisy. How is any of what Putin is doing, different from Serbia/Kosovo? I would've been entertained by the war too if I didn't have responsibilities and a life which can be turned upside down by radioactive fallout. All because some people are too proud to negotiate and make concessions!
