Who said this? Even the first batch of 150k troops that went into Ukraine on February 24 last year had conscripts in then and this was before they even admitted they were in Ukraine. So making up lies, it makes you look desperate.

thePronto okay so it's not a thing someone said that was broken, it's a law in Russia (which was circumvented by calling it an SMO). Two different things. The op said "they said". This is the kind of deception dominating western discourse.

thePronto I didn't disagree with you, but the OP who said "they said". It's a Russian law, I agree with you. Problem is nobody quoted it at the start of the war as OP alluded.
