Only Trump can make that happen.

@DiogoJ1 oh, now Russia will do whatever they please to Lithuania.
7
@DiogoJ1 that means NOTHING to Russia. This is self-defense for Russia now as Lithuania is cutting its own territories off from each other. I don't expect to see any self restraint from the Russian military in this case.

@abhilashpradhan7671 the Budapest Memorandum was contingent on Ukraine remaining neutral as the precondition for Russia to abide by it, as it has done with Belarus and Kazakhstan who also signed the Memorandum and haven't been threatened by Russia ever since. Ukraine broke that condition when they started holding meetings with NATO in 2010.

a few weeks from now: Russia gives a good smack of reality

Russia will do something to retaliate. All merchant vessels headed to Lithuania might be included in the "something".

@BitWise501 that's because NATO's expansion came from the West up to Russia's borders. Before NATO ever expanded, Russia never invaded anyone. Read that again. For the 8 years between the fall of the USSR until the first wave of NATO expansion, number of countries Russia invaded = zero.

@user-yv7rm9vp2c well, he got pretty dam close to putin, and everyone was screaming their heads off about collusion, btw what happened to that case? The powers that run the USA, the deep state, they want the USA to maintain a powerful enemy that will feed the military industrial complex, and will keep the people distracted enough to keep the circus going. Trump only wanted to put America first. Bring the boys home and let the allies get stronger on their own. (Remember he still kept the sanctions on Russia).

@BitWise501 huh???? CSTO has actually reduced in size, letting go of Uzbekistan, Georgia and Azerbaijan in 1994, like how normal military alliances downsize when there no apparent threat in peacetime. Don't you even bother to research your propaganda properly before posting?
2
@josephtoney4829 that's what you said about Ukraine
1
@djkanish2661 that means nothing if they're violating peace treaties unilaterally. They're being aggressive here. You sure NATO is a "defensive alliance"?
1
@adelbertantonio2937 Russia has used just about 10% of its regular forces in Ukraine. They've not called the reservists or the draft yet, and the economy is still in peacetime mode, the factories in the Urals are still asleep. It's dangerous to assume they're too weak to fight back.

@seachange3822 you don't have to be a Russian bot to be concerned about the prospects of nuclear war and what it will spell for the world. Calling people Russian bots is a lazy way of dismissing uncomfortable discourse.
1
@BitWise501 when was the Russo Georgia war? Answer: 2008. Thanks for proving my point, again. NATO expanded first, before Russia began to respond to the provocation.
1
@MGGitari you too. Read my comment again. The Russo Georgia war happened AFTER NATO expansion. You're proving my point.
1
Vinland you should get yourself a calendar and look up the dates of those wars and discover you're proving my point.

Vinland seems like most of you don't even know anything about what the history behind this conflict. Which is so funny because all the information is available but the media keeps you bound in willful ignorance. Right here on YouTube. Even the leaders of Europe whose reckless actions you defend, know the truth.
