@bazza518 there's not a single point in your comment that is true, most of it is emotional speculation and extrapolation AKA propaganda. For example "Sweden is not far behind" is false, as Erdogan has a new set of problems with NATO concerning the F-35 program, the Eurofighter program and the handling of Rasmus Paludan/PKK/Gaza situations.

@bazza518 fine, since you need the attention so much, I'll dignify your BS only this once before I pick my daughter up from school. NATO's "renewed sense of purpose" has impoverished their countries and shrunken their middle class by diverting scarce resources to uncompetitive war industries (due to the price of energy). Germany has negative GDP growth in 2023 and is projected to have marginal GDP growth rate in 2024 (by being optimistic). In addition Russia losing access to Western economies has opened them up to the Chinese and other world economies in Asia and Africa. 12 new members have joined BRICS in an economic system that hasn't been eroded as the legacy One has been by sanctions applied with political motivation. These are some examples of the context you leave out of your initial post, which makes it as good as propaganda.

@bazza518 picking them all off extremely time consuming, I have better things to do in my life than point out information that was staring everyone in the faces (who were curious enough to do honest research before the censorship regime began in 2022)

I usually advise people on the fence to watch a vlog like Sam's Russian Adventure or Wild Siberia and see for themselves how Russians are living their lives close to normal in spite of the greatest sanctions regime the world has ever seen.

@trumpforever6706 oh I know, Russia has been fighting a limited war with Ukraine, because they're still Soviet brothers after all. Russia itself has millions of people with relations in Ukraine, so Putin had to do the best he could to avoid the kind of mass killing we see in Gaza.

I have no doubt in my mind that's exactly what the US would do, except it's worse: all Russian media have been exiled from the US and all over the West. Putin is paying the West back in their own coin.

@kahutochishisumi9056 I have never supported Ukraine for a single day, I understand the history of NATO very well outside western coverage. If I ever wrote anything pro Ukraine, it must have been sarcasm.

@paulparoma it's nothing close to the 1,200 mile front that is Ukraine, and it has been recently fortified due to the previous wars, which Ukraine had never had with Russia. All you need to do is look at a dang map.
