  2. ​ jtbush  Russia's "invasion" was a preemptive strike on NATO's militarized proxy, and that's why they're sore about it. I'm sure what they would've wanted to see was Russia surrounded by their ABM infrastructure, which they can load with nuclear missiles in future to pressure Russia in all sorts of ways. Putin is smarter than they hoped.

One of the most awkward things I've seen in recent times is western copebots try to act like "Putin cannot be negotiated with" now that UA is losing, forgetting that there were 2 peace agreements between Ukraine and Russia brokered by Erdogan and Bennett, and they're the ones that pushed Ukraine to discard them. The people that turned this war from a "defensive war" to NATO's full fledged proxy war are repeating their lies from 1.5 years ago and it looks silly.
