@gypsyg9612 wrong. Self determination is a fundamental human right guarantee by the international charter of the United Nations. Freedom is not given, it is fought for and won by conquest. Catalonia had no one willing to fight for them so they remain enslaved to Spain. Donetsk and Lugansk have Russia to fight for them like NATO did for Kosovo and the Baltics.
