Do yourself a favor and search in YT "why do these Ukrainians want to be Russian" and you'll see a documentary made by none other than the BBC 8 years ago. Only then will you even begin to get close to understanding. These guys were literally begging Putin to come and save them immediately after Crimea voted to join Russia. You know nothing about Ukraine
