  1. The instant that happens, Ukraine will join NATO, they will rearm Ukraine, and then install US nukes at such a close range to Russia that their interceptor missiles won't stand a chance. So Russia will force its security buffer zone on Ukraine, since NATO has refused to stop expanding. This is what happens when military alliances expand in peacetime. They make everyone paranoid and upset the balance of power and peace.
