  1. Russia is not making it's old Soviet Union. If that was the case, it would've absorbed Kazakhstan in January 2022 when a western backed coup almost toppled Tokayev. Instead Russia invaded, crushed the insurrection and handed power back to Tokayev. That same Tokayev doesn't recognize Donbass independence today or support Russia in war. So you're wrong.
