💯. India will be despised for trying to slow down the moving train that is BRICS. They say they want multi polarity but they're holding it back themselves.

@Sarja247 Moscow also remembers that when China was voting in favor of Russia at the UN, India was abstaining. They also remember China sent weapons to help Russia but India sent nothing. I like India's neutral stance, but eventually everyone picks a side, just like Turkey. If India picks West side, you can bet China will seize the opportunity to deepen ties with Russia. Difference between India and China is, the latter is not afraid to oppose the US when necessary.

@ssp1500 BRICS is a worldwide economic alliance, not a religious organization or continental Union. OIC and AU cannot be compared. This is our one escape from the stranglehold of the dollar and you're holding it back, that's SELFISH!

@ssp1500 you're talking like the same people that thought Russia would collapse without them. And let's see how many of these new "group of emerging democracies" will dare trade with India in any other currency other than USD!

Doesn't India have pawns too? What about Bangladesh and Nepal? And please explain, what proof do you have they China can fight India within BRICS when all these other unaligned countries are there in the same alliance? Isn't an alliance supposed to depend on mutual consent? This fear is baseless and paranoia is a sign of bad things to come.

@Rajan_Rout if you think leaving your only escape from the dollar system with its potential for future sanctions, restrictions and interest rate hikes to fund overseas wars is in "India's self interest", then all I can say is, good luck India.
