  1.  @f-35lightningii6  these are two very different wars. USA had no reason to be in Vietnam in the first place. Russia is very motivated to stop NATO from cutting it off from the black sea and the supply lines are much shorter. That's why the USA has already exceeded Russia's annual military expenditure on Ukraine alone, 2X and counting. Russia will assimilate Ukraine if NATO refuses to negotiate.
