@PassivePortfolios what do you mean by "upper hand"? Both countries have what the other needs so that would be a partnership and not exploitation as you're trying to portray. Unless you're trying to perpetuate a fantasy of Putin "suffering"

@jdocean1 Putin was incredibly smart to beat the West to the punch in Ukraine. If he didn't move, Ukraine would've become a member of NATO while in control of CIA funded radical ultra nationalists. Finland and Sweden joined, but with the capture of Ukraine the encirclement has been broken. Russia retains access to the black sea through Sevastopol.
