@CarolineWolterHall Russia can flatten the countryside BUT they will never have a complacent people ....Like Russia and during the siege of Stalingrad in WW2 .. they were sieged and starving and frozen but they never gave in although their city was pulverized by the Germans. you cant take a people heart and spirit. Can you imagine the courage when that country, Ukraine, knew 190,000 Russia and their artillery were right out side their border and coming in...That was the big hurtle they jumped and survived... This little country is making a mockery of Russia who we have found out has a very inept military

@CarolineWolterHall Yes, interesting .. No country can tell another that they once were ours and should no longer be independent. In all of history segments of countries have split from originals. a separation happened in the early 90s and thats what Ukraine wanted. It will be a difficult think for Putin to hold onto a country whose people have actually become more solidified. Us leadership is weak. Putin reads them and threatens. Just listened to an oligarch friend of Putin who was later jailed but now is in England, He too believes Putin will push as long as he sees weakness and he will push some more. Zelensky seems to be right in saying the same thing. Last 4 presidents , starting with Bush, Putin did land grabs except with one. That was strange.

@stanfarshtei1291 All True. ... This had its roots in Energy. Lien waged war on energy the 1st day he was in. we were energy independent and shipping energy out of the country. In just over a year , the price is 5.00 and up from 1.99. This wasnt by accident. Germany was DUMB and STUPID ..Paying the DEVIL in euros for gas when they should have been buying form America . As the Poll president said .. For selfishness you bought from Putin .. so now UP your NATO costs to buy defensive equipment ( Germany is at the bottom of my shit list). I can tell you Putin looks for weakness and he saw it in Biden ... So think ..Last 4 presidents .. start with W. Bush ..Putin took land... Chechnia under Bush/ Crimea under Obama/ Ukraine under Biden...... Nothing under Trump ... Not a coincidence!!!!! Putin made an lean on Ukraine under Trump when in discussions and Trump said...." don't do it " Elections have consequences...Putin will go and go and go until he sees strength .... Giving is shows weakness and he will go more ...Zelensky got it right when he said that ... I love Ukraine people .... its story book the way they fight for their land
