Russia wanted more puppets so they could slowly take over but then they realized that’s not gonna work out well, because the Ukrainians elected a leader that is against Russia and Russia, realizing that they no longer can have a Ukrainian puppet government went and built up their military for a couple years and now we’re here.

Russia has tried this twice once as the USSR and second as Russia itself both times they were rejected not because it’s an anti-Russia alliance but because Russia did not meet any of the requirements plus the second time they tried to skip the entire process and wanted to join immediately Similar to the EU.   38. Absolutely not are you trying to start WW3? That will cause Article 5 to activate and NATO will have to fight Russia and we know if that happens Russia will use nuclear weapons. Either way Ukraine don’t qualify right now anyway. They are in an ongoing war and they have territorial disputes which are 2 of many things that can stop a country from NATO membership. I support NATO membership to Ukraine but only after Russia is kicked out.
