The Democrats shouldn’t have broke. They should’ve been the strong man and women and stand firm on their beliefs. They should’ve said “so if you’re not going to accept these ideas because a immigrant is somehow in charge of you then we won’t accept your not acceptance, accept the first bill take it or leave it” the Republicans are cowards they would eventually break. They are stubborn so it would take longer than the Democrats did, but it would still be the Republicans fault no matter what they caused the crisis to happen.
