Honestly, I think the ladder is less likely in the fact that Trump is less likely to win, but more likely as in due to his authoritarian policies that he says himself, he will set up that there would definitely be a large scale revolt of some sort. Trumps by definition cult is just a bunch of crazies and conspiracy theorists they can’t do THAT MUCH harm assuming they don’t bring their guns and even then they probably don’t have the best aim lol the most they could probably muster up is the second attempt at an insurrection especially since Trump loses support every day that he opens his mouth which is every day

  7. 11:11 exactly and besides the US has NEVER EVER tolerated succession even before the Civil War during the war of 1812 there was a large succession movement in New England. It was comparatively very non-violent and was resolved peacefully after the war ended. It mostly was because the new England states thought the war was a lost cause for America and wanted out as to not be punished by the British. this movement was quickly dissolved as the US government got involved. As America was able to successfully pushback the British and said it as a tie both sides achieve their goals America defended its sovereignty from the British trying to control them once again, and the British protected their colonies in Canada.

Honestly, what scares me the most about Trump being somehow reelected isn’t the dictatorship he will set up it’s the Civil War that would likely happen as people would start to bear arms against the autocratic regime like part of the 2nd amendment, partially suggest. This would cripple the world economy, and allow nations such as Russia, China and Iran to invade neighboring nations yes, Russia is struggling in Ukraine, but due to sanctions, they have managed to keep their economy afloat by retracting themselves from the global economy. Yes, they’re still part of the global economy, but nowhere near as much as they used to be as nowhere near as many countries are buying their oil and gas, their largest export, this would allow them to continue fighting with aid from China, North Korea, and Iran, whilst Ukraine would get way less weapons, not just from lack of American aid, but because the rest of the west would be hurting economically and wouldn’t be able to aid Ukraine nearly as much this would allow Russia to have a snowball effect. Yes, China would be in a very bad situation, but due to the fact that they have the second largest economy in the world they would be able to handle that blow, even if it’s a very large blow At least, if we prevent Trump from getting into the role of dictator from the vote he’ll probably at the most just try to have another insurrection which could be worse than the last, as it would likely become more violent not just because of the mob, being bigger and angrier, but the security, knowing what to do now, and prepared for it perhaps even having to clash with rioters but his cult does not have proper fighting experience. It’s just a mob of insane people. Yeah a lot of them have guns but they don’t have the numbers or the competency. America could survive a second Civil War. It has survived a Civil War in the past and yes, this would be on a much larger scale. But it has survived various challenges before, and it likely could prevail. It likely would prevail, but it would not be a pretty sight to see in the slightest.
