@3baxcb Winston: who said you would be staying here? you’re leading the way.

Would they see this as an invasion? Or more so a liberation.

@magma9000 oh my goodness people gotta stop comparing the two wars. They are nothing alike. 🤦♂️

I think option B is the most likely that I think would absolutely use the nukes

Moral of the story, if the Arab world was accepting of other ideas and views besides just theirs then this wouldn’t have happened all they had to do was give up a small portion of land for Jews to have their own state. but nope they wanted to keep it all they have plenty of their own land They have multiple of their own countries and Israel didn’t and still doesn’t force other religions out of their country. They are accepting of other people they just wanted a place for their own people to live. in a way Israel is kind of like Napoleon France constantly having to fight off coalitions that are formed against it and gaining land in the process. And for those Russian bots who want to use whataboutisam the reason this is different than just saying Ukraine should give up land is because Israel didn’t have its own area. Russia does in fact they are the largest country and unlike Israel they have been the ones going on the attack and that Russia has always been the one on the attack except for like one or two times but even then once they successfully defended themselves, they ended up doing harsh things to the people that attacked them and even the people didn’t As far as the situation right now goes, it’s not necessarily Palestine‘s fault. It’s specifically Hamas’s fault the terrorist organization basically controls Palestine. It was basically Israel’s 9/11 and the reason that civilian casualties are so high is because Hamas is using its civilians as meat shields, and using their places of residence as bases here’s a good example think of if the US got into a defensive war against someone and they decided to just revoke the 3rd amendment military people would be allowed to enter homes etc. Don’t get me wrong Israel has had its own faults and has done its own bad things however, for a large majority of its modern history of existing, it has been on the defense and has tried to lessen casualties as much as possible, depending on the circumstances. Final edit: and here come all the bots to spread hate

@user-op8fg3ny3j it is partially a religious conflict, but it evolved past that

as an American will say yes I know that we did not carry the entire war keyword entire but I know our involvement helped the UK, France, etc. in both wars a huge amount especially World War II. What infuriates me the most is about World War II almost everyone in the European continent seems to exaggerate the Soviet effort like they are the ones who won the world by themselves people will get upset about Americans saying they won the war themselves but then do that same thing acting like the Soviet union won the war themselves. I wouldn’t say that Germany was done for after they invaded the Soviet union as the Soviets themselves kind of sucked not even just saying that with an American bias like “oh communism bad” but like they actually sucked making their troops do meat wave attacks, forcing them to stay in the front otherwise they be killed by their own people, etc. Stalin himself said that the USSR would not have been able to stop Germany if it weren’t for American lend lease. Don’t get me wrong they did help a lot in the war effort but they were no where close to being the hero’s people make them out to be. Especially since they started doing nearly the exact same things as the Nazis with the concentration camps, armed authoritarian occupation, etc. In no way WW1 would have been lost if not for America but WW2 gets a bit more iffy as it all depended on Hitlers mood and his actions he made many crucial mistakes that lead to all the allies taking him down. He could have not declared war on America after Pearl Harbor, he could have kept his word with the Ribbentrop pact and not invaded the USSR, etc. Imo could the allies have won WW2 without direct American involvement? Yes perhaps but if Hitler had not declared war then we wouldn’t even have gotten directly involved anyway. Assuming Japan bombing Pearl Harbor would still happen it’s inevitable the USA would get partially involved. Could the allies have won without any American aid? I’m not to sure. Overall it was a team effort in both conflicts American involvement should not be understated and Soviet involvement should not be overstated. All did their own amounts of effort some greater than others but it was still a team effort and played vital roles in their own rights.

@grapefruitsimmons a proxy war is 2 big nations masking 2 smaller nations pick sides and fighting for them the Russian invasion of Ukraine is not a proxy war

@urmum3773 how? lol if the USA kept fully neutral the Brit’s would be speaking German lol
2
@urmum3773 what? it’s partially true. English is just an amalgamation of a bunch of languages.

@roymartin500 epic

Percentages can be very deceiving as they depend on multiple factors sure the USA has fought a lot of wars and conflicts but it’s also very young compared to others even though I wouldn’t call nearly 250 years “young” because then you could look at the British they have fought objectively more wars than the USA but at the same time they are a lot older so the percentage might not be as much.
2
@oliversherman2414 I wouldn’t say they were inevitable, considering the Soviet Union actually almost joined the axis
2
@urmum3773 he says in a mix of French and German

@Player2blood if there were no non-Zionist Jews, then why are there still Jews in other countries and if there are non-extremist Muslims, then why aren’t they all trying to eradicate Israel?

@francescolombardo6467 that’s the thing that you’re using hindsight which they didn’t have back then because people can’t see the future
1
@francescolombardo6467 he wasn’t the one in control of what the government did with them tho And the idea of MAD didn’t exist yet because no one else had nukes
1
@michaelsamuel9841 simply not true. I guess you’re denying the innocent lives killed by Japan in Pearl Harbor and the Philippines and I guess there is a slight argument for your statement for World War 1 but even then wasn’t our fault Germany decided to send a letter to Mexico telling them to invade.
