NATO never actually promised to not go east it was never a written treaty and it was also only meant for that time period plus it was a verbal statement made by people who didn’t have qualifications to enforce it 2. Russia, Ukraine and the USA all signed a written agreement that stated no country would invade or interfere in Ukraine in exchange for giving Russia the old Soviet nukes and russia has been breaking that treaty since 2014

  3. Trump doesn’t even know how NATO works. You don’t pay to get protection from America this isn’t some mafia they spend their own money on their own defense. NATO is a alliance of cooperating militaries and those militaries have vowed to protect one another if one is attacked. same with the RIO pact it’s not just NATO same with ANZUS, South Korea, Japan and Thailand we have military alliances like this for over 50 countries, putting our nuclear umbrella above them. This is why we haven’t had nuclear war because those countries don’t have to make their own nuclear weapons for security, because the US would protect them with nukes, but they aren’t paying for that protection These are signed documents between national leaders for collective security against aggressive nations, such as Russia China, North Korea, and Iran

I’m not defending Russia, but I will say the US never directly said in the treaty that they would protect Ukraine, it only said they would enforce the treaty The US the UK and Russia all signed three separate agreements for Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan after the fall of the Soviet Union this was called the Budapest memorandum it required all three nations of Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan to give up their nuclear weapons that were left over from the Soviet union back to Russia in exchange. Russia would not attack or influence them in anyway that damaged their sovereignty. The US and UK treaty bound to enforce the treaty and protect their sovereignty both nations have failed to do this with Belarus since Lukashenko came into power and have failed to do so with Ukraine since 2014 when Russia invaded the first time and occupied regions of Ukraine since then

  5. Although not officially in its territorial claims former Russian leader Dimitri Medvedev came out and said “Russia’s borders don’t end anywhere” verbatim. Essentially Russia claims the entire planet as their own. And I quote from Ukrainian president Zelenskyy “the Russians call us their brothers if they’re willing to do this to who they see as brothers imagine what they’re willing to do to someone who they hate”

Ukraine shouldn’t have to pay anything we’re having to pay to dismantle old equipment anyway if America really wants something out of this war it will have to be from Russia Ukraine is the victim do the police expect payment from the people they protect? No of course not we should not expect payment from Ukraine who will have to spend over a decade rebuilding itself and even longer if we let Russia continue this war.

And just like Hitler tried to do, Putin is doing even better at infiltrating the US for years before World War II began, and even until Japan attacked, and Germany declared war on the US many Americans millions had sympathies or at least had a higher look of Germany because they weren’t communist that was literally the only reason being completely unaware of the atrocities being committed
