  2. For a while, I never understood why people were afraid of AI, but the past few years have made me realize why and videos like this. Make me completely understand why like sure in theory we would never be able to get a real life terminator, thankfully but an AI like this could still control basically everything it’s only limit would be the amount of data storage the computer has and even then he could probably figure out a way to transfer itself to a larger computer they’re definitely has to be some sort of Killswitch that would have a guaranteed effect. They’re definitely needs to be safety measures and regulations. It’s just unfortunate that governments all around the world they’re being too slow about it.

  4. Maybe I’m just coping, but couldn’t we hardcode in motives for it? Like if it’s only goal is to benefit humanity yes that’s a bit vague and can lead to bad consequences depending on who tells it to do what but in theory as long as it’s not anything like that or anything objectively bad then it should be fine. As long as you don’t destroy everyone or whatever then it should be fine. At the same time as the video says, we can only base it off ourselves. There is no one else to base it off of. It could be some incomprehensible thing. We just don’t know until it happens.
