I think there’s a major difference between the other flip-flopping that Trump has done and this Most of Trump‘s base are racist just like him so unlike how the other times were Trump would flip-flop his positions and his cult would follow. I don’t know if much of his cult will follow this because they are so racist that they won’t care what he says, and they will want the Immigrants gone Because the entirety of Trump’s anti-immigration stance was never based on who was documented or undocumented who was legally coming in or illegally coming in this is proven by the fact that Trump allied himself with Elon, who is an illegal immigrant, he entered the country on a student visa, which you cannot do. The only reason Trump is all with him, though and being hypocrite here is because Elon is white. This will be the thing that shatters the Trump colt. It will shatter MAGA dividing them into 2 factions, the Trump loyalist who will stand by him and flip-flop for him even on this position and the ones who of which their racism outweigh their loyalty to him.
