  1. Even former presidents have literally said that the people should have the right to rebel against a tyrannical government. It was the whole point of the creation of the country after all. And I mean multiple like there’s various different quotes from various different presidents, but probably most famously the fact that it was directly put into the declaration of independence which of course it would but the fact that we still have that paper along with the other two most famous documents, those being the constitution and the articles of confederation even that final third failed document even in the articles of confederation there’s still some stuff we hold up as our values today
