In fact, we can thank the Aristocracy for making peasants as wealthy as we are today. If it weren't for them some tyrant Monarch would've subjugated us again. So while peasants lived menial lives, they had access to churches and people with wealth that cared about them. If you help people in China you're seen as a moron
