  2.  @ISAIAHTheBook  We evolved and yet why are we still having sex, sex is primitive. Why do we shake hands, hug, or kiss each other on the cheek during greetings. Why say hello to each other, that's primitive. Why do Human's still dance, dancing is a primitive act, why do we write? Why do we sing? Why do we fight? No, an evolved species is how it is because of culture, you think we would have gotten to the moon without culture? Probably, we'll never know but culture is what defines a species in character and action, it's a basic result of Human social behaviour, and a vital component in Human evolution and Sophistication within diversity.

  3.  @ISAIAHTheBook  you are incorrect yet again, culture harbours way of teaching and social behaviour. Yes, culture does require rules and boundaries, why would you have it any other way. With no rules and boundaries Humans have always responded with lawlessness and chaos, but despite culture having rules and boundaries it has not stopped the advancement of Human civilization and in fact has in many ways helped push it along. Ah, I never said an evolved species is due to culture, I said an evolved species is how it is in character and social behaviour due to culture. Exactly, saying Hello and the act of greeting is primitive, as well as all the other aspects I have listed, they have a purpose and culture play's it's purpose in Human civilization with great meaning. No sex is primitive, it's an act that's been necessary for centuries, it's a primitive act and yet it's vital. You appear to have this theory that culture stops advancement or it slows it down, with this it depends on the culture in question. With the Maori culture that is not the case, Maori have brought alot of Pride and social advancement to New Zealand culture and society, They have brought Pride and a resurgence in the Maori Language. In terms of technological advancement development has not been stunted with their culture and in fact in many areas of study and development regarding aerospace technology, environmental engineering and maintenance, scientific fields Maori are on par or have begun to surpass Pakeha. A culture like Maori or western culture does not stunt advancement and I don't think saving 5 mins in funeral processes will do much to speed anything up lol.

  4. ​ @ryanaqzina3efen487 Uhh you are quite incorrect, Large Segments of the Maori Culture are still practiced. The Haka being one of them but also other practices such as funeral processes, food preparation processes, Mau Rakau which is a Maori Martial Art, Matatini, Matauranga Maori which translates to Maori knowledge that encompasses Knowledge regarding Nature, the scientific workings of the land, human body etc and much more, and also the Maori Language. What's wrong with white people practicing Maori culture?

  5. Uhh no. Put it this way, Africans we're taken from Africa and brought to the America's as slaves. Now when you see the descending generations of African Americans within American society and culture you don't blink an eye, they are American, and they share the culture of America. Maori came to Aotearoa first, then Pakeha came, what you see here is the descending generations of Pakeha sharing the Maori Culture which is slowly becoming a Prime Pillar in NZ culture and society. The difference between the USA and NZ is that in NZ neither side never really lost touch of their cultures, both merged and with it Maori Culture has become open to everyone, Pakeha or Maori.

  8. You assume that there is only one way to express love or unity with a single type of passion, the God of Love wouldn't be very pleased with that. Humans have found a wide array of ways, practice's and actions to showcase Love, not just by smiling and singing. Love can even be presented through aggression, when Humans fight for something they love using aggression and anger. Or to honour it by passion and aggressive evocation as what we see here. Love isn't black and white, one size fits all. Human's aren't a standardized species, what makes us sophisticated is our different ways of invoking different emotions, and admiring each other because of it. What's not very sophisticated and mature is accusing people of being possessed because they are doing something that you've never seen before.
