  5.  @RogerMellie-yk3gw  I agree. I'd also like to see the age for voting in a national election raised to 25, that's when the brain fully matures. We could have a stepped level, even allow 16 year-olds to vote in local elections if they pass a civics test, similar to what they have to do to get a driver's license. I don't believe voting is a "right" but a privilige. I understand that triggers the history of Jim Crow in America, things like a "poll tax", but we should be "unburdened by the past" and "turn the page".
