  2.  @ericunderwood8080  I'm in California, it's a big place, have not had any impact on my location, not even smoke. My brother is in the Northern portion, and is safe, attention is needed, but not at your extreme, relax.

  3. Yes, I'm in California and listen to BBC exaggerate the fires as if it is our first rodeo. I see IDA has weakened, the eye is closing over land, which most likely means the worst is over. I heard more people die from running generators in or near the house than by rain and wind, seems the government needs to do more outreach on that. Always wanted to visit those white, sugar sand beaches of yours, thanks for the thoughtful post when others just shovel sh@t.

  4. Now only a CAT 2, still a lot of wind and water, but IDA will soon only be a tropical depression. All good.
