@hhdgdhum USSR lost in Afghanistan and it brought down the Soviet Union. the US never had territorial ambition, only to bring justice for women and children. Rural Afghans formed militias called mujahideen and drove out the Soviets. But then they fell into a civil war with each other. Out of that chaos emerged a group of Islamic teachers and students called the Taliban. They swept through the country, destroying mujahideen groups and imposing strict order.

@hhdgdhum No, the "Great Game" in Afghanistan predates the cold-war, books were written about it, Kipling's "KIM" comes to mind. Many countries helped the mujahideen, primarily Pakistan, which I'm sure you know. America had a number of interests in the region, especially after the taking of hostages after the coup in Iran, something you did not mention. You hate America, that I get from your comment.

Prior to Oct 7th poll taken by "Arab Barometer" in Gaza showed about 1/3 support for Hamas and 1/3 declined to state. This data is widely distributed and reported on. You can check Arab Barometer online, they've also done a post-Oct 7th survey.

Ibn Saud won the Hejaz from the Hashemites, the British Colonial Office then created two colonies, Trans-Jordan and Iraq. Those represent European colonialism, not Israel.

What would you do with all those who are called Yishuv? Should all the Russians who came to California in the 1840s also leave? 50% of all Gazans are Egyptian, not indigenous to the region.

Check out what happened to John Steinbeck's family, he is the Nobel Prize winning author of "The Grapes of Wrath". They made a pilgrimage to the "Holy Land" and purchased land, Arabs murdered the men and raped the women in front of their children, not in 1948, but 1853. Should India get Pakistan and Bangladesh back? Or is it good they both have nukes pointing at each other? 150 million were displaced in two world wars. Why is your story special?

Doesn't seem like a plausible explanation, more like Arab leaders told these families to leave and come back after they won, but they didn't. Again, 130,000 stayed, now number 1.6 million, are 21% of Israeli population, and have shared in bettering the land, much of which was only sand and marsh. Gaza has 24km of Mediterranean Coastline, the world has given Billions to the Gazans, but instead of making the world a better place, they've chosen to use the money to teach their children suffering, death, and to hate the Jews. I've seen the educational material produced by UNRWA schools. It's horrific.
