Estimates suggest that Palestinians make up a significant portion of Jordan's population, with some sources indicating around *3 million Palestinians* in the country. I'm aware of the history of the Hashemites. They are not the majority in Jordan.

Israel has 1.9 million Arabs, they serve on the Knesset, the Supreme Court, and in the IDF. The Hashemites are a minority ruling over a majority, similar to what the Alawite did in Syria. This was a series of battalions of Jewish volunteers who served in the British Army during the war. They participated in the British conquest of the region of Palestine from the Ottoman Empire and played a significant role in the Sinai and Palestine Campaign. Jews fought and died for autonomy, so did some Arabs against their brother Muslims. Jews willing to share, the others were not. The majority of Israeli citizens are not of European origin, but many from Europe fought and died in order to return and make a modern nation/state. Jordan was created in the same mold. You know the temporary British mandate was meant to foster new nation/states, later based on what FDR called "The Four Freedoms". We spent billions on that "project", the one being condemned by Iran and the "resistance". Your choice.
