@adissiosdynos9087 Counter-Factual. German Race Purity Law, charts of physical RACE characteristics to scientifically determine race, reason so quick to "jump:" is the distortion of history. "Holocaust" has a specific meaning, if you are not sure what that is, search on the Wannasee Conference of 1942 or the Nuremberg Laws of 1935. Just because you "think" something does not make it "true", in fact, that's one of the lessons of the Holocaust, perhaps you've "forgotten".

The Germans had a Science of Race written into their law in 1935. Your "perception" cannot rewrite history. Her ideology cannot change historical fact, but you both try, and that is not "knowing better", that is an incoherence to reality.

@mrt445 False, even if you were a Catholic but had a Jewish grandmother you could end up in the gas chamber, and racial determination was also made by how you looked. Just search "nazi racial charts". Amazing, with all the documentation so easily available, such willful ignorance as yours is still in full flower. Even Polish children were profiled for physical characteristics, if Aryan, they were sent to Germany to be with German families, if not, they ended up in slave labor camps, or worse. PBS just had a documentary about a Polish family who went through the Aryan racial test. Why do you want so strongly to believe otherwise? Mine is not a belief, documented facts abound, and there are people still alive who experienced it, but you want to believe otherwise, why?

Germans had charts and diagrams characterizing RACE regardless of religion or national origin. If a Jewish child appeared to have Aryan characteristics, they were taken away from their family and given to German families. The Germans had a SCIENCE OF RACE. There are thousands of free videos on this science, but you know that, and not acting in good faith.

@rodpanhard Only one group was designated for a "Final Solution" at the Wannsee Conference of 1942. Only one group was the primary target of Mein Kampf and speeches made by Hitler, only one group was singled out by the Nuremberg Laws, it was only later that the law was extended to other groups. Funny, there were two Jewish track athletes at the Olympics in Berlin 1936, out of deference to Hitler, they were not allowed to compete, so Jesse Owens ran in their place. How ironic.

@Tearsofsoil The Nuremberg Laws of 1935 were specifically about RACE and how the Germans defined BLOOD, religion had nothing to do with it. The Wannsee Conference of 1942 documents the "Final Solution", perhaps you should check that out, make a nice companion to your knowledge of the swastika.

@lukasz1154 HaHa, Kirk Douglas, blonde hair, blue eyes, a son of European Jews, what "genetic" differences, and whatever they might be, the Germans could not have know about it, DNA had yet to be decoded. The "science" was false, and determination was done by family tree and physical appearance, all they had to go on. Whoopie seems to hold the same bias.

@purplegirl8036 Way longer? Romans committed genocide against the Jews 2,000 years ago, before that, Africans enslaved Jews in Egypt 3,000 years ago. "More and Longer" would not be correct. Search Google for "Pale of Settlement" and also the 1290 AD expulsion of Jews from England. Better yet, check out Jews as "chattel" and listed like cattle in ownership records of William the Conqueror. Sorry, your teachers left out 5,000 years of history.

"Hypnotize", don't see that in the history, either, In the 1920s the largest group to support the Nazis were primary school teachers, who promoted nationalism and collectivism, and helped create the Hitler Youth organizations for both boys and girls. By 1940 there were 8 million members, 10% of Germany's total population. Evil is most often just banal and very human, no need to "hypnotize", when you have so many willing and enthusiastic participants. Hard to tell who is hypnotizing whom.

@natenae8635 The conversation on The View was about the book, "Maus", which was specifically about the Sho'ah, Whoopi denied it was about "Race", even pushed back on those who attempted to rebut her assertion. She later went on Colbert and redoubled her slur, stating WW2 in Europe was "White People Killing White People", a slander I've been hearing on the streets for more than 50 years. Search on nazi racial charts, how you LOOKED also determined RACE, and could either save your life, or get you killed. It's so easy to confirm that statement, just a few keystrokes away, try it.

However, just like American Naturalization law, new citizens take an oath to support and defend the values of America. Israel is a secular, nation/state, not a religious caliphate.
