BBC, fake news. Why?

@Gone_Gaming0 Not fake, he admitted to taking drugs earlier, it's on the official transcripts, but he also had something called Excited Delirium Syndrome from the drug use, and one of the symptoms is sudden death. I am worried that if the officers get a fair trial, they will walk, and violence will follow because of the news outlets like the BBC and CNN. I think we should mount an international class action suit against both entities.

I agree, Billy, the officers were unable to restrain Floyd in the back of the patrol car, understood he was in distress, assuming drugs and "Excited Delirium Syndrome", put him on the ground and called for MRE (Mechanical Restraint) and an ambulance. Another cause of death, which will be used at the trial, is Excited Delirium Syndrome, one of the symptoms is sudden death, and the transcript shows Officer Lane was concerned Floyd had ExDS, so the use of MRE (Mechanical Restraint) was indicated, and the transcripts show they were attempting to do that prior to EMS arrival. It's called "Hooping" and he admits to doing it "a littler earlier". It's part of the official court ordered transcript of the event. @primalconvoy That will be determined by a court, not by an independent autopsy. The "Exited Delirium" (ExDS) defense is well established and has been used successfully, one of the officers, Lane, was quoted during the incident with Floyd: "“I am worried about excited delirium or whatever,” Lane said". They officers were following training for ExDS which has also been documented. If so, the indictment against Chauvin was overstated and he could walk. A civil case against the city would be more successful, but I don't believe you are going to like the verdict with the officers. Will check back here later in the year. The BBC is acting irresponsible in their coverage, the Daily Mail did a much better job.

@primalconvoy Floyd is also on video stating that he had earlier been "hooping", do you know what that is? He did not just have "drugs in his system", he had been inserting them anally and was still under the influence, as evidence by his ExDS. It appears he was on a crime spree that day and resisted arrest and officers followed their training. That can be true, too. We will have to wait for the court to decide.

Here's the transcript where Floyd admits to "Hooping" "earlier", it also shows the officers going for MRE (Mechanical Restraint) which is standard training when dealing with someone suffering from Excited Delirium Syndrome, something the officers suspected he had, and is also on the transcript. fran bran The Daily Mail UK, 24 hours after Floyd's death, posted actual images of his arrest record and detailed police reports of his actions in Texas. Took me some time to pull that out of Google, since almost all the SEO was BBC style reporting, we are getting duped and scammed, for sure. We should not have to source all these facts ourselves, and push through the lies of both commission and omission. On Covid-19/SarSv2, I was also feed a link about the new CDC report, and found my way to the actual report. It's difficult reading, but not surprising, NO TRUST, NO PEACE, should be the real mantra of the day. The BBC is complicit, as is my own American NPR/PBS... to safe place in the media to go, SAD.

@Gone_Gaming0 Don't know if I see that on the video, and I'm no expert at video forensics, but there is audio of his saying he had been "hooping" earlier, and that's on the official transcript submitted to the court which will be used at trial to show earlier drug use, that's essential to the "Excited Delirium Syndrome (ExDS) officer defense. All three officers were going by department training for subduing someone with ExDS. Can't be murder, then. Some defense now being used in the Purdue case in Rochester.

@teo-medesi Here is the full court ordered transcript showing Floyd admitting to drug use earlier, and while he was not "belligerent" he did not comply with officer orders, they were unable to restrain him in the back of the patrol car, and were concerned he was suffering from Excited Delirium Syndrome (ExDS) and called for an ambulance, in the meantime, training required they use MRE (Mechanical Restraint), which they attempted to do prior to the ambulance arriving. @primalconvoy I won't say, because I don't know, if drugs were a factor. Because of the heated political nature of the incident, inflamed by hyperbolic media coverage, and the political agenda of others, I can't see how there will be a fair trial either way. Floyd made a series of irresponsible choices that day which forced the State to take responsibility for his safety, and the safety of others. I think the State is partially complicit in his death, but it was not "murder", nor the result of systemic racism. Follow the money of the people who do.

@primalconvoy George also says to Officer Lane at the beginning of the encounter that he had been "shot before", "just like this", indicating that he'd been shot by the police before. I have Floyd's arrest records from Texas and none show him ever being shot? Are you aware of George ever being "shot" before? Why do we not hear these things from the media?

@primalconvoy You "assume" my world view. I am 65 years old, grew up in a politically progressive family in California, currently a registered Democrat who voted for Obama's two terms. I've watched a sea change in my "party", saw it do what Nixon did, engage in an extra-legal coup against the opposing party, bypassing the rule of law.
