  2. Israel is a secular nation/state, something 5 Arab countries would not recognize and so they declared war on the new State of Israel, and some continue to do so. Nation/States have a right to defense, this was established by Westphalian agreements in the 17th Century.

  9.  @Shmingleshmangle  Jews were the majority in East Jerusalem before WW1, and about 8-15% in the region, after 1948 nearly one million Jews were expelled from Arab and Muslim countries then settled in Israel. 21% of Israeli population is Arab, only about 34% is from Eastern Europe. Also, Odessa is closer to Jerusalem than Oman.

  19.  @moldymush  The West Bank was never a part of the new State of Jordan (1946), so by international law it cannot be "occupied". The United States does not recognize the West Bank as occupied. The Jordanian administration of the West Bank officially began on April 24, 1950, and ended with the decision to sever ties on July 31, 1988. Israel and Jordan entered into a bilateral, unconditional Peace Treaty in 1994, so the 1949 Geneva Convention no longer applies. The IDF made every effort to notify the civilian population to leave the military field in Northern Gaza, action was not "collective punishment". If the hostages had been returned, if the people of Gaza had given over the Hamas brigades, no military action would have been necessary.

Marxism has failed. Palestinians need new leadership. Why did Jordan kick out the PLO, why does Lebanon tried them as 2nd class citizens, why does UNRWA maintain the fantasy of refugee status for 3rd and 4th generation Arabs? Show me the incentives, I'll show you the outcome. Arab and Iranian leadership need to change the incentives. Your "victims" get paid to be martyrs while their leaders sleep on silk sheets in Qatar.
