I live in Los Angeles, and after a couple of weeks of heat, we always get "cooler", the winds die down, and the fires contained. HAPPENS EVERY YEAR JUST LIKE THAT. Trump is factually correct, bad delivery.

Not true, he doesn't believe the tipping point is past and we have a decade before we all die. I agree with him, we need pragmatic solutions, not Utopian dreams.

I live in Los Angeles, we have HEAT well into the Autumn month, but it only lasts days or a week, then gets "COOLER", Trump is factually correct, and it has nothing to do with the season, which we really don't have in Southern California. After a heatwave, the winds die down, and fires are contained, Happens like that every year. He's right.

I live in Los Angeles, late summer, early fall, we get short heatwaves which drive high winds, that helps start brush fires that move quickly. We then cool down, winds stop, and fires contained. Happens every year, Trump factually correct.

@public.public Crass comment, but did you know the main ingredient in bleach is Sodium-Hypochlorite which is used by Dentist to kill infections after root canal, and has been used for almost a century. @originaljazzgirl I live in California, and understood what Trump said when you did not. The reporter was asking a "gotcha" question, as THEY always do with Trump, and he answered with sarcasm, not "stupidity". I've lived with the fires since 1955. We live in a fire plain, not unlike a flood plain. The reporter was making assertions that are politically motivated, and I only WISH we could all talk about the science, and rank our priorities without the rhetoric, but we are a long way away from that, and the BBC just contributes to the noise and heat, as do you, more's the pity.

@originaljazzgirl "Fake" = meant to look real or genuine but not real or genuine. The BBC placed Trump's statements in a context which made them appear, as you said, "stupid", when they were not, and went on to voice an opinion on his comments as laughable. The news should not be about policy or opinion, but when it comes to Trump, the BBC just can't contain their derangement over him, or Boris Johnson.

I live in Los Angeles and experienced with brush fires. Trump is FACTUALLY correct, we have heat waves for one or two weeks which produce very high winds that drive fires. It rapidly cools down, which it has, didn't need my AC yesterday, winds stop, and fires contained. THIS HAPPENS EVERY YEAR. BBC, I understand you hate him, but why do you LIE when he is telling the TRUTH. BBC, tell the TRUTH when TRUMP LIES, not the other way around.
