  2. Only small parts of California, and the AQI went as high as 834 in Plumas County during Dixie fire. I was just up there, record snow and pristine air, NY will be fine.

  3. It's been "investigated", and consensus seems to be this was done in low under brush, controlled, and not wide scale, unlike the Northwest. My favorite are the Firehawks in Australia, birds that actually spread fire to keep it going to flush our prey.

  4.  @joermnyc  Regardless, this stuff is temporary, difficult for those with preexisting conditions, but in a few days all good. We went through much worse here in California, AQI 834 in Plumas County, then record snow and pristine air.
