Are you saying you are okay with 50,000 legal entries a month from the South? That is not sustainable, so even if we increased the legal numbers, there would still be illegal trafficking of people and drugs across the Southern Border which needs stricter control.

@leestimis9264 Just google how many migrant encounters there were in 2021, just like I did, the number comes back 2 million. "U.S. Customs and Border Protection figures now show that more than 2 million unauthorized migrants came across the Mexican border in the calendar year and were apprehended or turned themselves in – in addition to those not stopped or detected."

Illegals have been interviewed and also say it was Democratic policy being the reason they took the risk, knowing they would be allowed in, so Texas Gov correct. States are not responsible for border security, the President is.
