  2. A "prison" made by Hamas on 14 June 2007 when they took over Gaza in a military coup. Arab leadership could have shared the spoils of war against the Turks with the Jews, who also fought in WW1. The Arabs would not share, began the rebellion in 1920 against the Brits, the Jews and among themselves. More have died in the civil war in Syria than in Gaza, and 1.9 million Arabs are citizens of Israel, they make up 20% of the population. Look inward for the answer to your suffering, stop using babies as a war PR strategy.

Jordan restricts the number of Christians in government and academia, that's systemic, and right now. An Arab member of the Israeli Supreme Court convicted a former Israeli Prime Minister of a criminal act. Show me the comparable in the region, or the US in the 1950s?

  14.  @Badgerbeard  I know who Levy is, have read his editorials and listened to his recent debates. There's an ideology spanning all geography which doesn't believe in borders or nation/states. Neither do I, but as you stated, there's a "lack of humanity" which makes borders and nation/states a necessary reality. Levy doesn't have realistic or practical solutions based on the reality of the current human condition. Strong fences still make for good neighbors.

The move for Pan-Arabism started in earnest just after WW1 and did not include a Jewish homeland. Both Jews and Arabs fought with the Brits against the Ottoman Empire. I believe as Derrick Bell does, author of "Racial Realism", that racism is endogenous to humans, and I'd go further, it's endogenous to biological life.
