Los Angeles just elected a new councilwoman who ran on a platform to defund police, open jail doors, and is from a low-income "people of color" section of the city. They voted for it. Eunisses Hernandez is her name.

Even if "armed", and some were, legally, there was no support from police, military, and not even the GOP senate minority, so there was no threat, it doesn't work that way in America, which has seen worse.

City of West Hollywood, California just defunded police, let go 4 officers, and hired "unarmed" security "ambassadors" who do not have enforcement ability. The mayor says it's to help keep people safe and to "deescalate" violent situations.

@K_F_P The refraction of light into wavelengths we see as color is the exact opposite of diversity, it splits them from each other, and the flag, which I not only see all over my neighborhood, but as a crosswalk on my street, feels like a Nazi symbol, and not one of inclusion.

@ianelliott518 AG Barr resigned, was not fired, Barr's book clearly states that the word "fired" was in a heated discussion and not a direct action.

Trump begged Attorney General Barr not to quit, the "fired" was used in a "negotiation" style discussion. Again, Barr did not get fired, he resigned. Hillary and her followers were the direct threat to Liberal Democracy, calling 2016 election "illegitimate" and then mounting two falsely based impeachments for more than 4 years, further tearing the country in half. The Dems took their eye off America and look what happened in the world. Hillary is the demon, not Trump.

@Jose Bobbington "fire spread", please, the so-called "insurrection" was caused by 2 fake impeachments and changes to voting rules due to Covid. "overridden", this very small crowd did not have the support of Capital Police, the local National Guard, or any branch of the military, not even a majority in the Senate? How could it have "spread", that's neurotic nonsense. I'm a Dem from California and can see that.
