@ThePerpetualStudent I'm a Native Californian and in 1987 was re-ended by a stolen rental car full of Oakland gang members at this very location, so, not "rhetorical", but autobiographical.

@ThePerpetualStudent I hit up the rental car insurance and got a big check. I chased the gang members down at the Bay Bridge Toll plaza on foot, they stop the car and got out, the car airbags had gone off but they still drove it, I tried to get the toll plaza to stop them at the gate, but they let them through, they dumped the car on the Embarcadero and split. I'm in SoCal now for 30 years at the beach near the OC border, neighbor just shot crazy woman going door to door at midnight. google 600 Roycroft. I was born across the street from Disney studios in Burbank in 1955 a few months before Disneyland opened, lots of change.
