@mortagon1451 Lindsay has done the scholarship, and clearly talks about his "agnostic" religious views while coming from the previous position as an atheist. He came to the conclusion about "gnosticism" and its Woke parallels before finding out this was a common scholarly position by many, including Jordan Peterson. Lindsay went into the mouth of hell to fight the dragon, he returned, but has scars from the fight. I thank him for his service.

14:30 Exact same conversation in 1961, watch Burt Lancaster in "The Young Savages", or the "Naked City" TV shows from 1958. Better yet, Sidney Poitier as a high school student in "The Blackboard Jungle" 1955, and then as a teacher himself in "To Sir With Love". Of course, Sidney was Bahamian, but don't tell BLM. Conversation is human, so predates any modern culture.

@Rogerholberg Just adding to the historical data. New Jersey allowed anyone with property to vote, including women and blacks, only 3 founding states explicitly restricted women and free blacks. It took a couple of decades before state voting laws were uniformly inclusive for race, gender, and in some cases, religion. My tribe couldn't vote in the new State of Maryland. It's a mixed bag and history has again been shape shifted in the last 35 years.

@brianmeen2158 I believe Bezos was saying biology goes along to get along, at least most the time. If humans seek social engagement for friends, sex, food, and protection, truth is not always a first priority.
