You've just restated the Soviet Era propaganda adopted by Nasser in the early 1950s. It failed then, it fails now. 5 Arab nations warred on Israel the day it became a nation/state, voted in by 33 countries in the UN, same UN that created Jordan and dozens of other nation/states after WW2. Israel is now 20% Arab who have full rights, show me the comparable for Jews in the region.

@gacek5036 An agricultural worker from Thailand, not a Jew, had his head hacked off with a garden hoe by HMS/Hamas. I saw it too.

Wars have consequences, especially if you lose, not just once, but many times.

Yeah, but he didn't get it right about the execution photo or the napalmed child, both were done by South Vietnam, not Americans.

"The Rock" is occupied, 3rd holiest site in Islam. The Hashemites lost the Hejaz, Mecca and Medina to Ibn Saud, then the Hashemites lost Jerusalem to the Zionist European, German Jews. It's the visceral pain, hatred, resentment and self-harm of the loser.

Gaza has 40 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline, could be like Tel Aviv, a rich paradise. Choices have consequences.

No, Balfour and Sykes Picot were before WW2 and creation of a post-Colonial world as chartered by the United Nations. Israel was created in the spirit of post-colonialism, as was Jordan in 1946, and dozens of other nations in the first 10 years after WW2. I'd always thought the clock should have been reset, and 1946 should have been year ONE.

Gaza has 40 kilometers of Mediterranean Coastline which could be a rich paradise, but they prefer hate and violence, the people are sefl-incarcerated in their hate.

Irrelevant, Israel was created in the post-Colonial era after WW2 as a nation/state, one among dozens created then, as Jordan was in 1946. 100s of Millions were displaced in WW2, there was a struggle to make a new world, but the Arabs refused, and 5 of their countries, some themselves created by the UN, went to war against Israel and lost. That's the most relevant fact.

Not all Native Americans ended up that way, choices have consequences. The 31st Vice-President of the United States, Charles Curtis, was Native American. One of the most beloved men of the 20th Century in America, Will Rogers, was Native American. But Native Americans also aligned with the Confederacy, owned slaves, one was even a general in the Confederate Army. Your view of our history is narrow and flawed.

The original offer was two-States made by the United Nations. 5 Arab countries, some of which themselves created by the UN, went to war and lost. What's not fair about that?
2
@adamkowalski2042 False, all documented by every library in the world, and documented by the United Nations itself. The 5 Arab nations declared war, the first battle was that, not the one Pappe references.

Russell was wrong, the 1967 Six-Day-War, The June War, led to Egypt's weak move in 1973 and peace agreement between Israel and Egypt. Egypt has since struggled with its own internal moral and ethical contradictions unrelated to Israel's self-defense measures. Russell was a mathematician and Pragmatist, perhaps a bit too wrapped up in his own dogma to predict the future.

??? The people you say are experiencing genocide have increased 7 Fold. That's the weirdest genocide I've ever heard of. What's Bibi got planned for the 2 million Arabs who are citizens of Israel, serve in the Knesset, on the Supreme Court, and even the IDF?
1
No one talks about? Everyone on campus talks about, but then I found out 20% of Israeli citizens are Arab, they serve on the Knesset, the Supreme Court, and even the IDF. How is that apartheid? I then found out Islamic law decrees apartheid for Christians and Jews, it's called DHIMMIS. You have it backwards, as all Woke Marxists do.

That's a fantasy created by archeologists who love to imagine what was in the mind of ancient peoples. Do you know what the Greek word for "Wrestle" is? The Mycenaean/Greek Language prior to the collapse in 1150 BC was not the same as what became classical Greek. Sorry. It is said the Romans used the term when it ended Judea as a client state and made it part of their Syria-Palestina territory. Some say it was the Roman fetish for ancient Greek culture. It's all speculation. The Ottomans picked it up to use as a general term for 3 territories in their Empire. Arafat picked it up in 1964 and made a flag, and so, here we are.

I've spent 50 years on this stuff. The most relevant history is post-WW2, not WW1, but does include the actions of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the 1920s war between Ibn Saud and Sharif Hussein. T.E. Lawrence was right, they are a "silly people" a "barbarous people", history has proven his statement correct.

I saw you post in the group that believes Apollo 11 never landed on the moon, too.

@adamkowalski2042 Your comment is known Soviet era propaganda from the 1950s when Nasser aligned with them. Repeating a lie never makes it true.

Classic, is correct, classic SaneAsylum

And the IRA aligned with the PLO and still do, they traded terrorist tactics and ran weapons for each other. I'm old enough to remember all that, and know folks who did just that.

40 kilometers of Mediterranean coast, could be a rich paradise, but they teach children hate and violence instead.
