  32.  @karengates5321  1953 was a self-inflicted wound by the Iranians themselves. The Shah appointed the PM, he was not elected and about to lose an election and tried to become a dictator. Iran's infrastructure today was born out of the return of the Shah and technology from Israel in the 1960s.
