  2. ? There is no "primary residence" discount on a mortgage. I'm a residential mortgage lender with an NMLS. You can get an even better deal if the money purchase is for a business property generating income. Even the property tax credit does not always reduce your tax burned, and most go with the Standard Deduction. The benefit is getting a mortgage from Fannie, Freddie, or the VA.

  3. FALSE: California policy on shoplifting was through State voted Prop 47, not made by Congressional vote. In-State policies are by State Senators and Assembly persons, not US Senators or Congressmen. Schiff's a POS but get it right.
