Elon Musk initially entered the United States on a student visa (F-1) to attend the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his undergraduate studies, he briefly enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Stanford University. This continuation of studies extended his student visa. He did overstay but that was resolved legally otherwise he would have not gotten the H-1B visa. He did not lie about it, and only worked a very brief time without authorization.

Elon was a Canadian citizen via his mother's birth there. He had dual citizenship. White South African males who were subject to mandatory military service could defer their conscription to complete their schooling or university degrees It appears Elon has citizenship in 3 countries. Mandatory conscription ended in SA in 1994, Elon was at University in 1994. These facts are readily available.

Elon is a nerd, not a Nazi, and is going to make lots of mistakes. He exposed the coordinated bias at Twitter and opened up a bag that helped get Trump elected. They were still pulling draft numbers, but no one was drafted born after 1953. I was 50 years old until I knew that I never really faced the draft for Vietnam.

@wernerstapela4616 Yes, Elon could have also had a college deferment, and we much remember Elon was just 19 when Mandela was released from Robin Island. The US has a Selective Service Registration rule but that does not apply to student visas or H-1B work visas. These comments reveal their bias and bigotry.

@michelewalburn4376 Trump didn't say they did, he said he was being told they did, and so was Vance. I watched community meetings where people were upset and saying wild things, including geese and ducks being taken from parks. That wasn't the real issue, it was the number of refugees being enticed into the city and given preferential treatment over the citizens, including free housing and other services. The most serious issue seemed to be lack of driving skill and the danger to trash cans. That made me laugh. Trump speaks the way the real people of that city spoke about the issue, whether it was true or not, it was how they were feeling. Why does the woke/left only recognize "My Truth" when it is something they agree with? I've checked some crazy things Trump has said that turned out to be true, like during Co-19 he said put an Ultra-Violet light inside people. Turns out Cedar-Sinai Hospital was already doing that for another illness and applied to test it for Co-19. Sounded crazy but UV Catheters are real, easy to fact check, even on the NIH website.

The protest was marked by the use of a water cannon with purple dye by the police to disperse the crowd and identify protesters for later arrest. While the protest was intense and resulted in over 500 arrests, including prominent figures like Dr. Allan Boesak and Dr. Charles Villa-Vicencio, there were no fatalities. Mandela was released a year later when Elon was 19 years old.

Both my parents were born in the early 1920s in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles. I lived in San Francisco from 1986 to 1994 near Turk and Van Ness, just a few blocks from UC Hastings in the Civic Center and shopped with Willie Brown at the Safeway on Webster in the Fillmore District just before he became mayor and was dating the 30 year younger Kamala Harris. Kamala is an empty pants suit who is not qualified to be President, she's "failed up" all her life. I also lived in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, many relatives still live there, and spent many years in the Jazz business, something Doug, Kamala's husband, was also connected to, and why his son is named "Cole" after John Coltrane. I worked with John's son, Ravi, back in the late 1990s. I have direct lived experience about which I speak.
