Mossadegh was a sick man losing the support of certain factions in Iran, without those factions, and Iranians who took US money, the weak Mossadegh government may not have collapsed. The US had not forces on the ground, and Kermit / CIA had few operatives. It was easy pickings. Operation Ajax supported the Shah, but was not fully responsible for putting him back.

  13. The King of Jordan's great-grandfather lost the Hejaz to the House of Saud. That's when the "losing" began. Gazans have more ties to Egypt than Jordan, and why so many Gazans are name al-Masri. I'm confused by the comments on this thread; they lack even the most basic knowledge of the region.
