My grandfather hired a horse and wagon each day, filled it with ice and food stuff, and hauled it from DTLA to the oilfields off Stocker and La Cienega in 1915. He later had a stall in the Grand Central Public Market in DTLA and bought stock in satellites and the future of America. He would have not been happy about this regression into a bygone era.
