Fire/Wind events have occurred where I live since before humans arrived. If they seem worse it's because more people are here. No structures were involved in the recent Lake Hughes fire and is good for the environment as many plants use fire/wind events to propagate seeds and the fire provides nutrients. Humans are adapting by hardening their homes to fire and new State fire codes. FEMA is only one of many who help those displaced for LA fires, many, many of our locals companies and organizations coming out to help and support recovery. We don't rely exclusively on the Feds.
