Benny makes it clear 700,000 Arabs were forcibly moved in 1948 after 5 Arab States attacked, writes that Ben-Gurion should have been even more aggressive moving them out. The leadership of the 700,000 didn't accept a two-State solution then, and don't now.

Has studied and lived the issue all his life. What would the region have been like if the UN partition had been welcomed by the leadership of the 700, 000? Choices have consequences. Post-WW2 there were 100s of millions displaced people around the world, borders being moved and some created anew, example would be India, Pakistan, and East Pakistan. The USA used an A-Bomb on Japan and are now close allies, the USA carpet bombed Germany and are now allies, the USA warred on Vietnam and lost, but now have diplomatic relations and strong economic ties. Gaza has 40 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline, could be a rich paradise, but instead, the people teach hate, resentment and violence to their children. In the 1920s, right after the mandate, Arabs and Armenians began killing Jews. Do you just ignore Amin al-Husseini, who in 1941 made a secret agreement with Hitler for a "final solution"? Do you also ignore the war between Ibn Saud and Sharif Hussein? It's all there for you, all you need is the will to learn.
