I was born in Los Angeles mid-1950s. He's using the disaster for political advantage. The Palisades, a place I 've lived in and had family who evacuated, has been a time b@mb waiting to go off for more than 50 years. Homeowners are responsible for brush clearance and can be fined starting at $500. The law was not enforced. That's a question yet to be asked.

Los Angeles County is 5,000 square miles, 9 million people. Pacific Palisades is small, 24,000 in population. There are 3.6 million housing units in the county. LA DID NOT BURN DOWN.

FALSE, the San Fernando Valley Catch Basin was expanded, in 2023/2024 it captured 96 billion gallons of storm runoff, enough for 2.4 million homes for a year here in Los Angeles. The counties to the East of LA doing the same, the Bunker Hill Catch basin will be larger than the Shasta Reservoir up north.

Santa Ynez reservoir was closed to repair cover in Feb 2024 (not NOW) and the area was being fully served by the Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir also used by helicopters to transport water to fires on both sides of the hill. The Encino reservoir also active and the Canadian Duck planes used the Pacific Ocean. This guy is way off.

This guy is incorrect, the scale is not what he described. Much like the Paradise fire, those who want to be on their burned out property are using RVs available, El Monte RV has stepped up for LA as they did for the Paradise fire. People will not be sleeping in Parks. Utter nonsense.

@ Yes, I'm seriously frustrated by the political mileage based on fantasy being used. I voted for Trump and to recall Newsom. I even worked on the recall of Gray Davis after he sold out our prior grid. The MSM lied about Trump so I voted for him, now they are lying about Newsom from the alternative right media. I need to turn both off.

San Diego, CA has the largest desalination plant in the Western Hemisphere, it serves 10% of the county and growing. More are being built throughout California. Some of the Prop1 projects are held up in GOP controlled Kern Valley. This is not just a one party issue.

the guy doesn't know what he's talking about, we have 3.6 million housing units in the County.

@MasterMalrubius We don't have forests in Pacific Palisades. My family in evac zone, I have video from when it first started from my cousin in her driveway. I first lived in Pacific Palisades in 1961, we all knew this was going to happen someday. Where are you? I see very well, and without YT.

@debrakiddoo318 That I don't know, but what I do know this was only a small factor in what happened. The Stone Canyon Reservoir was fully functional and used, water to home for that year did not have an issue and on same line as hydrants.

Those who still own on their homes in the Palisades most likely have the Mortgagee Fannie-Mae or Freddie-Mac. Just like during C-Vid there will be forbearance agreements and help for these homeowners. The fire insurance cancellation to not happen right away and there is a State run insurance we can get, and have to, based on our home loan agreements. This guy is nuts.

Roofers, Framers, Wall Board installers will be "undocumented". They are now. Will Tom Homan and ICE be on the job sites checking? I work in the industry, this guy being interviewed is clueless of the real challenges ahead.
